Servitalent is a member of the international network of headhunters Talentor International.
Some time ago, we created an initiative called "Spanish e-coffee with..." in which, month after month, we meet with the teams from the various countries that make up this network to update us on the talent market situation in both countries.
The purpose of these virtual meetings is to "share a coffee" to continue exploring opportunities for collaboration in the search for executive talent in both countries and, also, to strengthen ties with our partners so that, when it comes to working together, communication flows much more easily.
In this way, we both get to improve our global recruitment services and, at the same time, get closer to the culture and particularities of these countries to better understand the needs of their respective markets.
Last month we shared this space with our partners in Switzerland. We were able to have a short "update" with all our colleagues from Coopers Group AG and, afterwards, Jan-Philipp Schwarz answered a few more specific questions about the Swiss talent market, so that we can now share this information with you.
Jan-Philipp Schwarz, Business Manager at Coopers Group AG, gave us some insights into the Swiss talent market.
We, the Coopers Group AG, feel honored to be the Swiss representative in the global Talentor network.
Our headquarter is based in Hergiswil and we have three subsidiaries in Basel, Bern and Gland; we are currently working on a fourth office. At the moment, we have 43 people working here, but we are hiring and growing in different areas.
What makes us unique is our Coopers Spirit: In everything that we do we focus on the human, on the person we interact with; externally but also internally. That shared value contributes to our team spirit and our strong culture. We perceive the diversity of our Coopers Family as a strength and advantage.
#ingoodcompany is more than just a claim, it reflects how we feel and how we want our stakeholders to feel – nationally as well as beyond borders.
Switzerland has a large talent pool as it attracts a lot of talent from abroad, too. Reasons are, among others, a very high standard of living, attractive income opportunities and possibilities for professional growth. Yet, also the cost of living is higher than in other countries. Foreign companies should keep that in mind and calculate their offers accordingly. Luckily, the administrative infrastructure in Switzerland is very well organized and supportive. We are more than happy to provide information and assistance to our Talentor partners if they and/or their clients have a project in beautiful Switzerland.
In the IT sector mostly developers and cloud experts. Our executive business is growing due to the fact that many new CEOs were installed in the last couple of months.
We are specialized in recruiting experts in Information Technology, Engineering, Life Scienes, and Finance. A special IT field is the recruitment of IT professionals for Swiss public administrations.
No, we have not yet recruited in the Spanish market. But we are lucky to know whom to ask for advice should we need it.
